Warranty Terms

Levels of service covered by the terms of the warranty

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase of the device by the final consumer.

The duration of the warranty coverage of the devices supplied by Omikron Electronics,
differs by manufacturer and product category.

Parts of devices such as accessories, external power supplies, Foot switches & remote controls,
faders, buttons, cables, may be excluded from the warranty due to misuse.

The warranty does not cover software products that are included in the product packaging.
The warranty does not apply if the factory serial number has been modified or removed from the product.
The warranty does not cover products that have been modified electronically or mechanically in any way.

DOA (Dead On Arrival):
If the device malfunctions during initial operation
(within 30 days of purchasing the device in the end user), the device will be repaired free of charge.
In the unlikely event that we can fix the problem,
then you are entitled to a new replacement product.

To start the DOA process must:
a) Provide us with a copy of the purchase receipt of the device
b) Fill in and send us the RMA Form you will find on the company’s website (RMA Form).
c) You must bring us the defective device
and within 4 working days (upon receipt of the defective product
and if there is a spare part immediately available in our warehouse),
you will receive your defective device repaired or you will receive a new one.

In case, for your defective device,
there is no spare part available in our warehouse,
to carry out the repair on time,
then, the repair time will be longer and will depend
from the time of dispatch of the spare part by the manufacturer.

The faulty device must be in excellent condition
and be accompanied by peripherals as well as its complete packaging.
Otherwise the device will not be replaced.
In case the device malfunctions due to misuse,
then the free repair process will be stopped, and you will be informed about
the repair costs of the device, which if you do not accept the device
will be returned unrepaired and there will be a minimum charge of € 25 including VAT. 24%,
which will concern the introduction of the product in the service.

Repair of device within warranty (In Warranty)
If the device malfunctions within the warranty period,
free device repair is provided.

To begin the process of free repair of the device must:
a) Provide us with a copy of the purchase receipt of the device
b) Fill in and send us the RMA Form you will find on the company’s website (RMA Form).
c) You must bring us the defective device
and within 4 working days (upon receipt of the defective product),
you will receive your defective device fully repaired.

In case the device malfunctions due to misuse, then the free repair process will be stopped,
and you will be informed about the repair costs of the device,
which if you do not accept the device will be returned unrepaired
and there will be a minimum charge of € 25 including VAT. 24%,
which will concern the introduction of the product in the service.

Non-warranty repairs (Out of Warranty)
If any malfunction occurs in a device without warranty, we can undertake the repair,
informing you in advance what will be the cost of the repair.

To begin the process of Out of Warranty repair of the device must:
a) Fill in and send us the RMA Form you will find on the company’s website (RMA Form).
b) Within 2 working days you will receive from us the acceptance of sending devices,
which will also mention the cost of the repair and then you will answer us
by e-mail to [email protected] or by fax to 211 300 9201 that you accept the cost of repair.
c) At the same time you will have to deposit in the company’s bank account the amount
of repair referred to in the acceptance of device shipment and
within 8 working days you will receive your device repaired.

All repairs are covered by a 90-day warranty.
This means that if the same problem occurs on your device within 90 calendar days,
then the same process will be repeated at no extra charge.

Because we cannot guarantee the safe transport of the devices, devices that will be sent for repair
should be in their original packaging or alternatively in a package
that will protect the product during transport.
